Web-based courses use pop-ups to open the content of the course and to communicate with Netball Learning. If you can't open a course, you may get a warning that the browser has blocked a pop-up.
To check your pop-up settings when using Netball Learning, please follow these simple steps.
When in the homepage of your enrolled course, click on the course tile of the module you are up to, and then on the link within this section. Please click here if wanting to know more information on how to find and enrol in a course.
If pop ups aren’t enabled the course module will not load automatically and you will be taken to a page like the one below. Please note that the course module can still be launched, by selecting the Click to Launch Manually link.
However, launching the course this way will mean that you must do so for every module, whereas enabling pop ups will launch the selected module automatically. To enable pop-ups, navigate to the right-hand side of the URL browser, located towards the top of the webpage, and click on the icon with a red circle containing an ‘x’ in the middle, as highlighted below:
Selecting this will give us two options. We want to select the first option ‘Always allow pop-ups and redirects from…’ and once this has been done, we can select the Done button to confirm the change. This change is consistent across all of Netball Learning, so you will now be able to start modules automatically for all the courses that you are enrolled in.
