Links can be useful to jump to different pages of your website and even to external pages relevant to your website. A link can be added to almost any items within the website including images and text.
Adding Link to an Image
Once the relevant image has been selected and the link icon appears in the floating toolbar, select this to activate a link.
Once selected, a pop-up will appear with a range of linking options. Choose the relevant option and complete the details once prompted, then select Done to confirm.
Adding Links to Text
A link can be added to a word (or words) as a call-to-action or to emphasise that the reader could follow the link to another page within or external to the website.
In order to do this, select the area of text in which the link will be. With your cursor, highlight the relevant text. Select the Edit Text option in the floating toolbar and then choose the link icon.
Complete the details in the pop-up window and select Done to confirm.
Updating a Menu’s Link
When adding a page to the menu, this will include a link to the page automatically.
To update a link within a Menu item, select the menu area. Once the floating toolbar appears, choose Manage Menu.
From the relevant 3-dot menu, select Change Link.
Complete the details in the pop-up and select Done to confirm.
Adding Social Links
Social media links are located in the header and the footer of the page. These can be updated by selecting the relevant social bar element and then choosing Select Social Links from the pop-up menu.
To add a social media link, select the relevant social bar and choose Set Social Links.
A pop-up will then appear, this is where you can link the social media page by selecting the relevant social media logo (eg. Facebook) and adding the text in the field on the right-hand side. If you have additional social media pages, you can link these by selecting + Add Icons and choosing from a range of social media platforms. Once complete, choose Done to confirm.
