Wix features several options which can allow you to monetize certain areas of your website such as offering subscriptions through the news/blog or selling tickets to an event. In order to do so, you will need to ensure that at least one payment method has been added.
To add a payment method, choose the Select Site button from the relevant site tile in My Sites.
You will then arrive at the website dashboard. Select Settings in the main menu on the left hand side, then choose Accept payments.
You will then be presented with several options to connect your preferred payment platform. Each option (aside from Manual Payments) will require you to create an account on the relevant platform. Selecting See More Payment Options will provide an additional range of options such as Afterpay, Point of Sale (POS) and LayBuy.
Note: Stripe is separate from PlayHQ’s Stripe, therefore, you will need to create a separate Stripe account.
