To ensure a smooth experience while using the learning system, please follow these recommendations when starting or continuing an enrolled course:
1. Use Only One Tab
It’s best to keep only one tab open for the learning system. Having multiple browser tabs open (e.g., one for each module in a course) can cause discrepancies in your progress. Each tab may not be fully aware of the progress you've made, which could lead to confusion or errors.
2. Allow Cookies and Storage of Browsing Activity
Cookies are small data files stored on your device to help websites function more efficiently. They are essential for tracking your progress in the course. When logging in, be sure to allow cookies by selecting "Yes" when prompted upon entering the course homepage.
3. Avoid Incognito/Private Windows
While it's helpful to use a separate browser when multiple learners are using Netball Learning, launching a course in incognito or private mode can sometimes lead to errors. This mode may not store the necessary data, affecting your ability to progress smoothly through the course. To resolve issues, try using a regular browser window or a different browser altogether.
4. Enable Pop-Ups
Certain actions on the Netball Learning may require pop-ups to be enabled. To ensure that all features work correctly, please make sure pop-ups are allowed. You can find more information in the article Enabling Pop-Ups.
5. Use the Latest Browser Version
For optimal performance, make sure your browser is up to date. Regularly check for updates to your search engine and browser. Some browsers update automatically, while others require manual updates. If needed, uninstalling and reinstalling your browser can help ensure you're using the latest version.
6. Complete Modules Properly
To avoid losing progress, always exit a module or course using the Exit button found in the summary section (see the article Completing Modules and Course Progression for more details). Avoid the following actions, as they can cause issues:

Back button: Using the back button can interfere with the system’s history and result in progress loss.

Refreshing the page: Refreshing the browser can cause progress to be lost. If you need to exit partway through, it’s recommended to close the browser tab instead.
