📘 Accreditation Status Definitions in Netball Learning
You can view the status of your accreditations in your Record of Learning, as shown in the example below. This table shows key information such as your certification due date, status, and when your renewal window opens.
Below are the definitions for each accreditation status you might see in your account.
✅ Certified
You have successfully completed all requirements for the accreditation.
Your certification is currently valid and active.
🕒 In Progress
You have either:
- Started but have not yet completed all of the accreditation requirements.
or - Started the reaccreditation process.
❌ Not Certified
You are either:

Yet to complete the accreditation requirements,
or -
Your previous accreditation has expired, and you haven’t recertified yet.
🔄 Due for Renewal
Your accreditation is still valid, but you're now in the renewal window. The period of time before your expiry date when you need to complete the reaccreditation requirements to stay accredited.
⏳ Not Due for Renewal
Your accreditation is valid, and the renewal window has not yet opened.
No action is needed at this time.
⚠️ Renewal Expired
You didn’t complete the required courses during the renewal window, so your accreditation has expired.
You'll need to recomplete the accreditation to regain your certified status.
If your accreditation has expired within a certain timeframe, please contact support for advice on next steps.
🪟 Window Opens
The Window Opens date is when you're first eligible to renew your accreditation.
- The window opens the day after you complete your accreditation.

From that date, you have up to 4 years to recomplete the required training and maintain your accreditation.

Any course completions before the window opens will not count towards your renewal.
Example:
If you completed your accreditation on 1 July 2021, your window opens on 2 July 2021, and you have until 30 June 2025 to renew.
🕒 What does "You are currently certified..." mean?
If you see a message like this on your accreditation:
You are currently certified – you do not need to work on this certification until the recertification window opens. Progress made before the recertification window opens will likely be lost. The recertification window will open on 10 August 2026, 9:25 AM.
It means:

✅ You’ve already completed the accreditation, and your accreditation is currently valid.

🕓 The reaccreditation window has not opened yet, so you can’t begin the renewal process yet.

⚠️ If you start a course before the date shown, your progress won’t count toward your renewal.
📌 What to do:
Wait until the reaccreditation window opens (on the date shown in the message) before accessing the course again. This ensures your course completion will count toward renewing your accreditation for another 4 years.
