Uploading B Badge Practical Test Sheet

The B Badge Umpire Accreditation is the second step in Netball Australia’s umpire pathway. This article explains how to enrol, complete prerequisites, record your practical assessment, and download your accreditation certificate.

Step 1 – Enrol in the Accreditation

1. Go to Netball Learning.

2. Log in using your email address as your username.

3. Click Find Learning from the top toolbar.

   

4. Enter B Badge Umpire Accreditation in the search bar.

1. Select the B Badge Umpire Accreditation tile.

2. Review the accreditation description and click Click Here to Enrol.

   

3. Scroll down to view the prerequisites listed in the Original certification path.

👉 If you have already completed the Intermediate Umpire Course and the Rules of Netball Exam, these will show as "Completed". You can skip ahead to Step 3.

Step 2 – Purchase and Complete Prerequisites

To complete your B Badge Accreditation, you must also complete the Intermediate Umpire Education Course and the Rules of Netball Exam (if you haven’t already).

If these show as Not completed in your Original certification path, you’ll need to purchase them through Netball Learning.

Once you’ve purchased and completed the prerequisites, you can move on to Step 3 – Record Your Practical Assessment.

Step 3 – Record Your Practical Assessment

⚠️ Important: You must complete this step to be awarded your B Badge.

There are two ways you can access the Practical Test – B Badge. Choose whichever is easiest for you.

Option 1 – Via Record of Learning

1. Log in to Netball Learning.

2. From the top menu, click Record of Learning.

   

3. Open the Certifications tab.

4. Select B Badge Umpire Accreditation.

   

5. Scroll down to the Original certification path and click on Launch Course for Practical Test – B Badge.
   

6. Select the Enrol me button.

   

👉 Once you’ve opened the Practical Test course, follow the Completing the Practical Test Submission instructions below to record your assessment.

Option 2 – Via Find Learning

1. From the top menu, click Find Learning.

   

2. Enter Practical Test – B Badge in the search bar.

   

3. Select the Practical Test – B Badge tile.

   

4. Select the Enrol me button.

   

👉 Once you’ve opened the Practical Test course, follow the Completing the Practical Test Submission instructions below to record your assessment.

Completing the Practical Test Submission

👉 Once you’ve enrolled in the course:

1. Select the Record your Assessment tile.

   

2. On the next section, click Record your Assessment again.

   

3. Click Add submission.

   

4. Ensure you enter the details of your practical assessment in the Online Text box.

   1. Date of Assessment:
   2. Location:
   3. Time:

   4. Testers:

5. Upload a copy of your Practical Assessment Test Sheet.

6. Click Save changes.

   

7. Review your details, then click Submit assignment.

   

8. Select Continue to confirm your submission.

✅ Your Practical Test Sheet is now submitted! It will now be graded by your Member Organisation.

Step 4 – Download Your Certificate

Once your submission has been graded, your B Badge Umpire Accreditation will be awarded.

1. Log in to Netball Learning.

2. On the home screen, scroll down to My Certificates.

3. Select B Badge Accreditation Certificate.

4. Click View certificate to download it.

Congratulations! You have successfully completed your B Badge Umpire Accreditation.

• Your accreditation will also appear in your Record of Learning.

• Accreditations are valid for 4 years.
