Overview
This article provides an overview of the PlayHQ Organisation Overview menu functionality. The functionality in this section allows an organisation to provide important information on their organisation, and competitions and programs they offer. This information drives the data available in the Netball Finder, which allows new participants to netball to find available opportunities to play near them.
Managing Main Organisation Details
The information that is shared about an organisation on the Finder represents all the data that an administrator can update from the Overview menu in PlayHQ.
Important: This applies only to the Details and Contacts tabs in the Overview menu.
Updating General Details
Your Organisations general details include the organisation logo, description, primary contact details and website, if applicable. It is important that the contact details in this section are for a primary contact of your organisation, who would be responsible for speaking to prospective new participants.
Organisation Discovery Details
The address details within the menu determine whether your organisation is discoverable and appears in the Finder map. Using the visibility toggle, organisations can choose to either be visible on the Finder or hidden. If made hidden, organisations will not be presented on the map or via the search bar.
The address details, gives the option to add both the full address, as well as the Longitude and Latitude. The address is listed with in the organisations details when looking at the organisation in the Finder.
Important: Even if your organisations address is input correctly in PlayHQ, you will not be discoverable in the Finder without the Longitude and Latitude information. This is required for the Finders map to be able to locate your organisation.
Note: The Latitude and Longitude for your organisation should have already been uploaded by your State organisation or Netball Australia. You can use a map application such as Google Maps to search for your organisation using the longitude and latitude to ensure it is finding your organisation correctly.
Setting the Formats and Inclusions Offered
When the format is ticked in PlayHQ, it will appear as an information tag in your organisations section on the Finder.
The formats also help determine whether your organisation will appear when a prospective participant uses the filters to search in the Finder.
Each format is tagged in the background to one of the three types of participations that can be selected when filtering the search results on the Finder. If one of the formats you have matches the tags (see below), your organisation will appear in the list of organisations.
Organisations can additionally add Age and Gender information along with inclusions that are offered as part of the available competitions and programs.
As per the above two images, the Age and Gender and Inclusions options appear as tags in the organisation details, as well, feature as options that prospective participants can filter for in their search.
Important: Age and Gender information set in the Overview menu only supports the data available in Finder. This information does not have a bearing on the Age and Gender settings that are set within competitions.
Managing Organisation Contacts
Within the contacts tab of the Overview menu, organisations can add any additional contacts. All contacts, including the contact details, will also be listed in the organisations profile on Finder.
