Overview
The Shop feature allows organisations to sell their products on their public-facing PlayHQ website instead of using registration forms for the same purpose. These products are available for purchase from your Shop by anyone accessing the PlayHQ website, whether they are registered participants or simply supporters. Users must log in or create an account before making a purchase.
Organisations must set up their payment details before making the Shop visible. This ensures that you can receive payouts for orders made via the Shop.
Setting Up Shop
To ensure the products appear on your organisation's Shop page, you will need to:
- Activate your Shop's visibility.
- Add products to your Shop.
Activating Shop's visibility
Activating your Shop's visibility will result in a new "Shop" tab appearing on your Organisation's public PlayHQ page.
To make your Shop accessible on your organisation's PlayHQ page, navigate to the "Products" option from the main menu and then select the "Shop Settings" sub-tab. Once here, simply set the visibility option to "Visible".
Adding Products to Shop
Adding products is easy. For existing products, head to the "Products" section, locate the desired product, and click "Edit". Scroll down to the Shop's visibility setting and switch it to "Active".
For new products, go to the "Products" section, select the product type, fill in the necessary details, and set Shop's visibility to "Active".
Viewing your Shop
To see your Shop, select Products from the main menu, then click "View Shop". Your Shop will open in a new tab. Any products you’ve added to the Shop will be visible to everyone who visits your Organisation's page on the PlayHQ website. You can also copy a link of your Shop to share with others.
Shop Orders
To manage orders, navigate to Products from the main menu, then select "Orders" sub-tab. In the Source column, all orders placed through the Shop will be labeled as "Shop".
You can also generate an Orders Report which can be used to track or report on orders, and the Transaction Report can be used to list purchases.
