Overview
Vouchers are a great way for your organisation to offer discounts on participant and/or team registration fees and can also provide an incentive to register such as offering an Early Bird discount or a committee member discount.
A voucher that is configured by an organisation can only discount the registration fee of the same organisation.
Creating a Voucher
To begin, select My Organisation then Overview, then choose the Vouchers tab. From here, you can either “Create a voucher” or “Edit” an existing voucher.
When creating (or editing) a voucher the following four fields must be completed:
- Name- This will appear at the checkout during the registration, on the tax invoice sent to the participant, and in the transaction report. It can be changed at any time.
- Value- Enter the amount of the discount (expressed in dollars). This can also be changed at any time, however, changes made only applies to future voucher use.
- Number of uses- Set the number of times in which the voucher can be used. Once the limit is reached, the voucher will no longer be able to be used.
- Activate voucher- Select whether or not the voucher can be used at the checkout. Turning this off will deactivate the voucher, however, it can be turned back on and reactivated at any time.
Once the required fields are complete, select Create located in the top right-hand corner. This will generate a unique 8-character voucher code which can be distributed where appropriate.
