Setting up a Competition
To enable any Association or Club to operate any tier of Woolworths NetSetGO, Associations must first create a competition within the Competition Management section in PlayHQ.
To initiate the welcome process for participants, including pack redemption, it is critical that the following process steps are adopted:
- Select the Competition Management main menu item, and then click on the yellow + Add Competition button which appears at the top.
- Ensure you complete the setup of the Competition name to reflect the following:
2a. Woolworths NetSetGO – Net – Skills/Activities.
2b. Woolworths NetSetGO – Set & GO– Competitions.
Note: For clubs to be able to operate a Net Skills tier, the Association must create a Net competition tile and invite their clubs. If the Association wishes to also offer the Net tier, the Association can utilise the same competition to invite their participants via the “Participant to Season” registration form for the Association.
3. When selecting the format, administrators must ensure that the NetSetGO format is selected.
Note: To initiate welcome processes for participants, including pack redemption, it is critical that the correct format is selected.
Note: If the NetSetGO format is not selected at time of creating the competition, participants and the relevant tier will not be considered Woolworths NetSetGO, consequently the participants and association/club/school will not receive any benefits related to Woolworths NetSetGO including the pack.
4. After selecting the NetSetGO format, you can complete the rest of the competition settings in line with your competition rules. Click on create competition button to finish the competition setup.

Creating a Season
Prior to enabling the registration setup, the Association must create a season.
Note: To enable Clubs to deliver the Woolworths NetSetGO Net tier at anytime of the year, it is recommended that Associations set the season dates for the Net tier for the entire year period e.g., 1/01/2023 to 31/12/2023.

Registering Participants
Associations can create a Participant to Season Form enabling participants to register directly to an Association delivered tier. In most instances this will be for Associations that directly deliver the Woolworths NetSetGO Net tier.
To enable Clubs to deliver either the Woolworths NetSetGO Net, or Set & GO tiers, the Association must have completed the steps outlined above i.e., created a competition tile for each Woolworths NetSetGO tier:
- Woolworths NetSetGO – Net – Skills/Activities
- Woolworths NetSetGO – Set & GO – Competitions
Note: Associations who add a season to a previously created Competition should ensure that they are using the correct name. The Competition name can be edited within the Competition Settings.
1. To ensure clubs can deliver the Woolworths NetSetGO Net tier or for clubs to compete in your Woolworths NetSetGO Set & GO Competition, Associations utilise the Club Management Settings to invite clubs.
Note: When completing this form, Associations enter the relevant fee for their organisation into this form. Please consider that the fees set in PlayHQ are inclusive of a 1.99% transaction fee.
2. Once this step has been completed, Clubs will receive an invitation and can complete registration and team management steps as required.
