Overview
This article outlines the steps involved in creating, editing and deleting a competition's season. A competition must have a season before registrations can be opened to allow participants to register. Associations can create a new season only after a competition has been created.
Create a season
To create a season, select the Competition Management option located in the main menu on the left-hand side. Select the relevant competition tile, then click the ‘Add Season’ button.
Fill out the setup form by entering the season name, start and end dates, and any exception dates (e.g., Christmas Day) when games will not be scheduled. Choose the venues to be used, specify age limits, and set the season’s visibility.
Select Create Season in the top right-hand corner to finalise the set up.
Edit a season
You can update the season details at any time. To do so, select the relevant competition and season tile, then click the Settings tab. On the Settings page, you can modify the season dates, venues, and age settings.
After making the necessary changes, click the Update & Save button located at the bottom of the page.
Delete a season
To delete a season, select the relevant competition and season, then click the Settings tab. Scroll down to the bottom of the Settings page and click Delete Season button.
Note: The Delete Season function will be disabled if the season includes one or more grades, teams, or if a registration form has been configured.
When prompted, confirm the deletion by selecting Delete Season or click Cancel to return to the previous page.
