Editing and Deleting a Friendly Game
Adding a Friendly Grade
Association administrators can create non-competitive games against any team in their competition season. There are no rounds for these games; they are simply listed in date order. These non-competitive games do not contribute to any player career statistics by default.
Before creating a friendly game, you will need to create a friendly grade. To create a friendly grade, navigate to Competition management from the main menu, select the relevant competition and season, and click the dropdown next to " +Add a Grade" button. From the dropdown, select the "Friendly" option.
Complete the setup form for the Grade Details. This includes the day of the week that the grade will take place, the age group for the grade, gender, division (optional, e.g., A, B, C or 1, 2, 3), and a grade name. Once these details are completed, select the grade visibility. Once this is complete, select the Next button in the top right-hand corner to confirm/update the grade's Game Settings.
Under Game Settings, you can configure General Settings. This includes selecting a game sheet template (Basic or Advanced), determining the total duration (in minutes), and choosing between halves or quarters, as well as setting the length of each period (in minutes). You will also be able to set lineup limits for players and coaches (optional) and define overtime details.
Overtime can be set for all games or only for finals. However, only one period of overtime is available. If you require two periods of overtime, we recommend selecting 10 minutes and halting the clock halfway to allow for the changeover.
The third and final page is the Grade Settings. Here, you can configure club access and restriction settings. The Club Access Settings allow association administrators to enable or disable the ability for clubs to enter scores. This lets club admins enter game and period scores for both teams via Game Day. Subsequently, a time will need to be set to lock access for clubs to enter scores..
Club access type refers to the ability to set line-ups and statistics for their own team or both teams, while you will also need to set when access to opposition line-ups commences (After or before the game starts).
The duration time for each period will also need to be set. Choose to enable or disable best players. If enabled, you will need to choose the maximum number of players, which will be displayed on the game centre. Enable or disable player points; this may not be required. However, if applicable, you will need to choose whether to enforce a team total player points cap. If "yes" is selected, you will need to set the team player points cap and choose whether player points are visible or hidden.
Finally, under Restriction Settings, select any age and/or gender restrictions. Further information about this can be found here.
Once you are satisfied with the settings, select the Add grade button to create the grade.
