Allocating Teams
Once teams and grades have been created for a season, teams can then be allocated to grades.
For association administrators, the process begins by selecting "Competition Management" from the main menu on the left-hand side. Next, they should choose the appropriate Competition and Season tile, and then select the "Grades" tab. The team allocation (shield) icon is located on the right of a corresponding grade.
Club administrators, on the other hand, need to select "Competitions" from the main menu, click the "View" button for the relevant Competition/Season, and then navigate to the "Grades" tab.
Association administrators control the opening and closing dates during which club administrators can allocate their teams to grades. While association administrators can always allocate any club team to a grade on behalf of a club, club administrators can only allocate their teams when the 'lock' icon is open or green. If the lock icon is closed or grey, club administrators will not be able to allocate teams to grades.
The following images illustrate the view for a club administrator, which is essentially the same for association and league administrators, although the lock icon does not affect their ability to allocate teams.
Allocating a Team
To allocate a team, select the "Allocate a Team" button for the grade to which you wish to assign team(s). Note that teams cannot be allocated to a grade that has already been fixtured.

A pop-up menu will appear, allowing you to locate the team(s) by using the team's tick-box. Confirm the allocation by selecting the "Allocate teams" button. You will then be returned to the list of grades, where the selected grade will display the teams allocated to it.
Unallocating a Team
If you need to unallocate a team, select the "-" button to remove the team from the grade. You can also use the "^" button to collapse the expanded view of the grade. Note that teams cannot be unallocated from a grade that has already been fixtured.

You can continue to allocate and/or unallocate teams to a grade until a fixture for the grade is generated. Once the fixture has been generated, you can no longer add or remove teams unless you delete the fixture from the Fixture Settings section.
