A PlayHQ account holder can enable (or disable) privacy settings for their own profile or a child/dependent. This controls whether the first and last name appears or is hidden from publicly displayed game centres and profile statistics pages or any media outlets or third-party websites that use PlayHQ data to display game results and information.
However, data will still be shown to administrators to enable them to manage the participation.
In order to update these settings, you will need to log in to your account. Once logged in, if you do not see your name and details, select My Account rom the drop down menu on the name of the primary account holder.
If you wish to change your own privacy settings, select the Profile tab.
If you are changing the privacy settings for a family member/dependent, simply click on the name whose privacy setting you wish to change and then select the Profile tab.
Privacy settings will be located toward the bottom of the page. Once here, select the Edit button.
Choose either Public or Private and then choose Save once the selection has been made.
A message will then appear at the top of the page confirming that the Privacy Settings have been updated.
