A game has been started on an e-score device;however, it was too early. How can we restart the game on a different device?
If you have access to the device the game was originally started on, you can use this device to reset the game.
If you do not have access to the device, you can take over the game on a new device by following these steps.
As a last resort, if you do not wish to activate the device take over and if you do not have access to the original device the game was started on, you will need to delete the game from the administration portal and re-add the game to the fixture. Note: Before deleting the game please ensure you take note of any line-up information already entered, as this will be lost upon deletion and need to be re-added back into the new game.
How do I change devices during a game?
If you do not have access to the device, you can take over the game on a new device by following these steps.
How do I add players who are not in the line-up or roster?
Only players who are allocated to a team or added to the line-up in the admin portal will appear on the device. You can add fill-in players to a game, however please note that this record does not link or connect to any existing PlayHQ profile. If you wish to replace a fill-in record with a player's actual record at a later date, you can do so by following these steps.
How do I add an event(Goal/Miss) to a team rather than an individual?
If you are not sure to whom the event should be attributed, you can allocate the event to the team by simply selecting the event and then choosing the team name (the same way you would a players name).
When will results appear on PlayHQ admin portal and public-facing page? Are scores shown live?
If the device you are using to E-score is connected to the internet, the scores will automatically be sent to PlayHQ in real time, allowing supporters to see results live. For more information on live scoring click here.
If the device is not connected to the internet, you will still be able to use e-scoring, and the games will be synced to PlayHQ as soon as the device comes back online.
After ending the game, it has moved into the completed section on my e-scoring device, but results haven't appeared on PlayHQ?
If the device you are using to E-score is connected to the internet, the scores will automatically be sent to PlayHQ in real time, allowing supporters to see results live.
However, if you do see a game which has been completed on your e-scoring device but is appearing as pending in the Admin Portal and on PlayHQ, click the refresh button on the e-scoring device and then check if these game results now appear.
